Leech Jar Brooch

Local artist, Beth K. Crane, has created a range of beautiful bespoke jewellery based on the museum's historical collection. Our leech jar became one of the chosen objects to be turned into jewellery because leeches were commonly used in the Victorian era to bleed patients!
