Brain Earrings

One of the surgical procedures that took place in our operating theatre was trepanation for brain injuries. Hence here we have a wonderful rendition of the brain crafted in wood to decorate your ear lobes.

These earrings belong to our range of beautiful, bespoke jewellery created by local artist, Beth K. Crane, based on the museum’s historical collection.

Each earring measures approximately 1.5 x 2 cm. Hand-crafted in wood.
